5-Minute Lemon Mousse: An Easy and Quick Dessert

Indulge in the simplicity and speed of this delightful lemon mousse, ready to delight your taste buds in just 5 minutes. A perfect treat for those who appreciate a swift yet delicious dessert experience.

During a recent visit to my parents’ house in Girona, we found ourselves with an abundance of lemons from their beautiful lemon tree. As a result, our culinary creations with lemons multiplied, from lemon cake to lemonade, and, of course, this incredible lemon mousse – perfect for those times when time is of the essence.

So, if you have unexpected guests and little time to whip up an elaborate dessert, this lemon mousse is my go-to recipe. Ready in just 5 minutes with only 4 ingredients, it’s so delicious that it gives the impression of hours spent in preparation.

For those who might not be fans of lemon, I recommend giving this delectable chocolate mousse a try. With only three ingredients, it’s a breeze to prepare.

To make this lemon mousse you will need:

To prepare the mousse, you will need:

  • Condensed milk
  • Heavy cream
  • Greek yogurt, no sugar added
  • Lemon juice

Won’t the cream be separated?

If you mix milk or cream with lemon it always separates, doesn’t it? No worries! The magic of this recipe lies in the addition of condensed milk to the mixture. When combined with lemon, the condensed milk prevents any separation, resulting in a creamy and delightful texture. So, remember not to skip the condensed milk!

How to prepare the lemon mousse in 5 minutes:

  1. In a bowl, combine condensed milk, unsweetened Greek yogurt, and cream. Whisk together.
  2. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and continue whisking until the mixture slightly thickens and everything is well incorporated.

Assembly:

  1. Once the mixture is ready, serve it in individual bowls or cups.
  2. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
  3. Garnish with blueberries, strawberries, cream, or grated lemon peel before serving.

Enjoy this quick and luscious lemon mousse! If lemon isn’t your preference, consider trying our delightful chocolate mousse with only 3 ingredients, equally easy to prepare.

Embark on a culinary adventure and surprise everyone with the creamy texture and exquisite flavor of this delicious lemon mousse. Your taste buds will thank you!
